Blip vs Zenvia vs Sailer AI: communication platform or sales platform?

Blip vs Zenvia: both are communication platforms for large brands, built for bots, customer service and high-volume messaging. Blip stands out in conversational journeys for large accounts; Zenvia in multichannel messaging with SMS and RCS and public plans. Sailer AI is a different category: a CRM with AI agents and seller governance, built for sales.

Sailer wrote this comparison, so we tried to be especially fair. Blip and Zenvia data comes from each company's own website, checked in October 2026, and may change. In several scenarios Blip or Zenvia is the right call, and we say which.

What Blip is

Blip is the former Take Blip, renamed in June 2023. It serves large companies in retail, financial services, telecom, education and energy, and says it processes more than 20 billion messages a year. Customers named on its site include Itaú, Bradesco, Claro, Stellantis and Energisa.

The platform organizes the customer journey into stages (listen, attract, convert and engage) and offers AI agent building, a copilot for human agents, in-conversation payments and its own chat channel. It is an official Meta Business Solution Provider. For small businesses, the company offers Blip Go, which adds an AI agent, a kanban pipeline and campaigns to an existing WhatsApp Business number through coexistence.

What Zenvia is

Zenvia sells Zenvia Customer Cloud, a customer experience suite that brings together channels, data and automation, and says it has more than 10,000 customers. Anyone looking at Zenvia for WhatsApp finds an official Meta partner (BSP) that connects numbers through the official API, lets several agents work from one number and offers coexistence to migrate from the regular app while keeping the number.

On AI, Zenvia's bet is orchestrating Meta Business Agent, Meta's own agent launched in 2026. Its site puts it plainly: the intelligence is Meta's, the operational brain is Zenvia. Beyond WhatsApp, Zenvia offers SMS, RCS, email and voice, plus more than 20 native connectors, including Salesforce, Zoho and RD Station Marketing.

Blip vs Zenvia: where each one shines

If you are choosing between the two, the practical differences are:

  • Blip is stronger with large accounts running complex conversational journeys: flow-designed bots and agents, high service volume, in-conversation payments and a long track record with banks and telecoms. Base monthly prices aren't shown on the site; Enterprise is quoted on request.
  • Zenvia is stronger in multichannel messaging, especially SMS and RCS next to WhatsApp, and it has a ladder of public plans that starts free. Channel usage is billed separately in packages.
  • Both were designed for a brand to talk to many customers through company numbers and agent queues. Service and communication at scale are the core. Consultative selling with a book of accounts per rep is not.

How Sailer AI is different

Sailer AI is a CRM and AI agent platform for WhatsApp sales: it connects the brand's numbers and each seller's own number to the official API, puts AI agents and people in the same team inbox, fills in the CRM on its own and measures every conversation. The difference from Blip and Zenvia isn't having WhatsApp or AI. It's what sits at the center.

The CRM at the center, not on the side

In Blip and Zenvia, the CRM is an external system to integrate. In Sailer, the deal is the main object: the conversation creates and updates the contact and deal, moves the pipeline stage and records the loss reason. If you run Salesforce or HubSpot, Sailer reads contact, account and opportunity context, writes fields and notes, moves stages and syncs account ownership. See the platform and the Salesforce integration.

AI agents that sell

Crew agents were built to run a sale: qualify, handle objections, book, close and hand off to the right person with context. Every change runs in a sandbox before it reaches a customer. At Amor Saúde, AI scheduling and cross-selling of the Cartão de Todos card reached 24% scheduling conversion and 28% card conversion, with the cost of serving each lead down 66%. More on the WhatsApp AI agent page and in the Amor Saúde case.

Each seller's number under governance

Many companies sell through each rep's own WhatsApp, not a central number. Fleet connects those numbers to the official API with coexistence, gives each one an owner and a book of accounts, sends campaigns from the owner's number and keeps history and an audit trail when someone leaves. At Arco Educação, 125 of 135 consultants joined in two months, sending 16,500 messages from their own numbers with a 26% reply rate.

100% of conversations scored

Compass scores every conversation against the playbook, whether it comes from sellers, Sailer's agents or third-party AI. See WhatsApp conversation analysis.

Where Blip and Zenvia beat Sailer

  • Volume and track record with large accounts. Blip says it has more than 20 years in the market and serves banks and telecoms; Sailer started in 2024.
  • Channels. Zenvia has SMS, RCS and voice; Blip has Telegram, Apple Messages and its own chat. Sailer covers WhatsApp, Instagram, email and website chat.
  • Customer service. Queues, tickets and high-volume support operations are their home turf. Sailer was designed for sales.
  • Cheap entry. Zenvia has a free plan and Blip Go costs R$389 a month. Sailer's entry plan costs R$1,449 a month.
  • In-conversation payments and full post-sale journeys, which Blip offers as a module.

A Blip or Zenvia alternative: when switching makes sense

Switching makes sense when the problem is sales, not communication. The usual signs:

  • WhatsApp became a consultative sales channel, but the pipeline lives outside the platform and the CRM isn't updated.
  • Bots answer questions but don't qualify, handle objections or book meetings.
  • Reps use their own numbers and the company has no visibility or campaigns per book of accounts.
  • Managers can't measure conversation quality beyond a sample.

You don't always need to switch. Many companies keep Blip or Zenvia for customer service and run Sailer in the sales operation, with the CRM as the meeting point.

When to choose each one

Choose Blip if

  • You are a large brand with complex, high-volume service journeys.
  • You need channels like your own chat, Apple Messages or in-conversation payments.
  • You want a vendor with a long track record in banking and telecom.

Choose Zenvia if

  • Your communication depends on SMS and RCS as much as WhatsApp.
  • You want to start on a public plan, even a free one, and grow step by step.
  • The focus is service and multichannel campaigns, with Salesforce or Zoho as CRM.

Choose Sailer AI if

  • WhatsApp is a sales channel and you want AI agents running the conversation through to the close.
  • Your reps use their own numbers and you need governance without taking those numbers away.
  • Your system of record is Salesforce or HubSpot and it must be filled in without typing.
  • You want to measure 100% of sales conversations, human and AI.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Blip and Zenvia?

Both are communication platforms for large brands and official Meta partners. Blip focuses on conversational journeys and agents for large accounts, with quote-based pricing. Zenvia focuses on multichannel messaging across SMS, RCS and WhatsApp and publishes plans from R$0 to R$3,900 a month, per its website checked in October 2026.

Does Zenvia use the official WhatsApp API?

Yes. According to Zenvia's website, checked in October 2026, the company is an official Meta Business Solution Provider, connects numbers through the official API, lets several agents work from one number and offers coexistence to migrate from the regular WhatsApp app while keeping the current number.

How much does Blip cost?

Blip has a free plan for up to 2 agents and Plus and Super plans for up to 30 and 50 agents, but its site shows only overage prices, not the base monthly fee. Enterprise is quoted on request. Blip Go, for small businesses, costs R$389 a month, per the website checked in October 2026.

Does Sailer AI replace Blip or Zenvia?

It depends on the use case. If your current platform handles customer service and mass communication, Sailer usually sits next to it in the sales operation. If WhatsApp is mainly a sales channel, with reps, a pipeline and a CRM, Sailer can replace it, because it combines CRM, AI agents and number governance.

Do Blip and Zenvia integrate with Salesforce and HubSpot?

According to each company's documentation, checked in October 2026, Zenvia has a native Salesforce connector and links HubSpot through Zapier, while Blip has a HubSpot app and extensions plus a Salesforce extension for Blip Desk. In Sailer, both integrations read and write to the CRM during the conversation.
