A note before we start: Sailer wrote this comparison. To be useful, it has to be fair. Kommo's data comes from Kommo's own website, checked in October 2026, and may change. Where Kommo is the better pick, we say so.

What Kommo is
Kommo is the former amoCRM, renamed in October 2022. It describes itself as an AI-powered CRM for sales automation and messaging and says it has more than 100,000 customers in over 100 countries. It is one of the best-known WhatsApp sales CRMs in Latin America.
The product is built around the inbox: WhatsApp, Instagram and other channels flow into a visual pipeline, and the team moves leads through stages. No-code bots, broadcasts, AI agents and an integration marketplace round it out. Kommo displays official Meta partner badges, offers the WhatsApp Cloud API and supports coexistence between the WhatsApp Business app and the API on the same number.
What Sailer AI is
Sailer AI is a CRM and AI agent platform for WhatsApp sales: it connects the brand's numbers and each seller's own number to the official API, puts AI agents and people in the same team inbox, fills in the CRM on its own and measures every conversation.
There are four parts. The platform brings together the CRM, an omnichannel shared inbox (WhatsApp, Instagram, email and website chat), campaigns, follow-ups and permissions. Crew is the set of AI agents that run the conversation. Fleet connects and governs each seller's number. Compass scores every conversation, human or AI. Sailer is based in São Paulo, Brazil, and is an official Meta Tech Provider.
Where Kommo wins
Self-serve and easy to start
You sign up, connect WhatsApp and build your first pipeline the same day, without talking to anyone. The 14-day trial unlocks every tool. For a small team that wants to organize WhatsApp this week, that convenience is hard to beat.
Entry price
According to Kommo's pricing page, checked in October 2026, plans cost US$25 (Base), US$35 (Advanced) and US$45 (Pro) per user per month, with a 6-month minimum. A five-person team on Base pays around US$125 a month. Sailer's entry plan costs R$1,449 a month. For small teams, Kommo is cheaper.
Marketplace and ecosystem
Kommo lists more than 100 ready-made integrations: payments (Stripe, Mercado Pago), e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce), telephony, forms, email marketing and project management. If your stack is made of SMB tools, there is a good chance a connector already exists.
No-code configuration
Bots, pipeline automations and AI agents are built in a visual editor, starting from templates. Teams that like to tinker get full autonomy.
Where Sailer AI wins
Enterprise delivery
Sailer doesn't hand over a login and a tutorial. It delivers a project: playbook design, integrations, roughly two weeks of sandbox simulation and go-live about five weeks after kickoff. For a company with hundreds of sellers, Salesforce and a legal team in the loop, that matters more than the per-user price.
AI agents that run the conversation end to end
Kommo's AI agents qualify leads, answer from your documents and hand off to a human with a summary. Crew agents go beyond support: they qualify, handle objections, book meetings, close and pass the conversation to the right person with full context, reading and writing to the CRM as they go.
At Asaas, the AI sizes each lead's revenue potential, routes it, books the meeting while distributing it across sellers, and writes fields and notes in HubSpot. The sales cycle dropped by 50%. See the Asaas case and the WhatsApp AI agent page.
Fleet: each seller's number under governance
Kommo lets you connect several numbers (unlimited on Pro) and supports coexistence. The difference is the governance model. Fleet was designed for companies where every rep owns a book of accounts and a personal number:
- Each number has an owner, a book of accounts synced with the CRM and permissions. Vacations and departures become a setting.
- You build a campaign once and each message goes out from the number of the rep who owns that customer.
- Alerts for idle accounts and overdue follow-ups, response time per seller, and an audit trail.
At Arco Educação, the pilot started with 11 consultants and reached 125 of 135 in two months: 16,500 messages sent from the consultants' own numbers, more than 8,000 schools reached and a 26% reply rate, a number nobody had measured before. Details in the Arco case and in our guide to coexistence with the official API.
Compass: 100% of conversations scored
Compass reads every conversation and scores it against the playbook: discovery, objection handling, agreed next step. It works on conversations by sellers, by Sailer's agents and even by third-party AI. Managers stop sampling five chats a week and see all of them, with loss reasons and coaching per person. More in WhatsApp conversation analysis.
Real Salesforce and HubSpot depth
Kommo is itself the CRM, which makes sense if you adopt it as your system of record. Large companies, though, rarely replace Salesforce or HubSpot. Kommo's integrations page lists no native connector for either; the link goes through the API or tools like Zapier.
At Sailer, Salesforce and HubSpot are the deepest integrations: the AI reads contact, account and opportunity context, creates and updates records, moves stages, writes fields and notes, logs the conversation and syncs account ownership. Arco runs on Salesforce; Asaas runs on HubSpot end to end. See the Salesforce and HubSpot integrations.
Kommo for enterprises: how pricing compares
| Kommo | Sailer AI | |
|---|---|---|
| Model | Per user, per month | Per operation: a monthly fee with leads, numbers and people included |
| Public plans | Base US$25, Advanced US$35, Pro US$45 per user/month | Kayak R$1,449, Sailboat R$2,497, Yacht R$4,947 per month |
| Enterprise | Custom quote, with SSO, SLA and a dedicated account manager | Cruise, tailored: setup, monthly minimum and usage |
| Commitment | 6-month minimum | Depends on the plan |
Kommo prices per Kommo's website, checked in October 2026. Meta template fees are billed separately on both; Sailer passes them through at cost, with no markup.
The math changes with scale. Per-user pricing grows with every seller you add. At Sailer, cost follows the volume of the operation and the work the AI agents take on. For five people, Kommo is almost always cheaper. For hundreds of reps with AI, Salesforce and governance, compare using the real design of your operation.
When to choose Kommo
- Your team has up to a few dozen people and wants to start without an implementation project.
- You will use Kommo as your main CRM and don't run Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Budget is the top criterion and per-user pricing fits.
- You need ready-made connectors for SMB tools like Shopify or Mercado Pago.
- Your team likes building bots and automations on its own.
When to choose Sailer AI
- You have dozens or hundreds of sellers, each with a personal number and book of accounts, and need governance without taking those numbers away.
- You want AI agents running the conversation end to end, not just answering questions.
- Your system of record is Salesforce or HubSpot, and it is staying.
- You need to measure the quality of 100% of conversations, human and AI.
- You prefer a guided rollout with a sandbox and ongoing support over configuring everything yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Does Kommo use the official WhatsApp API?
Yes. According to Kommo's website, checked in October 2026, Kommo is a Meta partner, connects numbers through the WhatsApp Cloud API and supports coexistence, which lets you use the WhatsApp Business app and the API on the same number. Sailer also uses the official API as a Meta Tech Provider.
Is Kommo a good fit for large companies?
Kommo has a custom-priced Enterprise plan with SSO, SLA and a dedicated account manager, and it serves large teams that adopt it as their main CRM. It is a less natural fit when the company already runs Salesforce or HubSpot, needs governance over each seller's book of accounts or wants an assisted rollout.
How much does Kommo cost compared with Sailer AI?
According to Kommo's website, checked in October 2026, plans range from US$25 to US$45 per user per month, with a 6-month minimum, and Enterprise is quoted on request. Sailer prices per operation: R$1,449 to R$4,947 a month on public plans, with tailored enterprise projects above that.
Can I switch from Kommo to Sailer AI without changing numbers?
Yes. Numbers are connected to the official API and, with coexistence, sellers keep the same phone and the same WhatsApp Business app. Contacts, deals and history can be imported, and Sailer can sync with your current CRM instead of replacing it, so the move doesn't break customer relationships.
Does Sailer AI have a free trial like Kommo?
Kommo offers 14 free days with access to every tool. Sailer offers the Kayak plan, with self-guided onboarding, for teams that want to validate on their own, and enterprise projects run about two weeks of sandbox simulation before any real customer conversation.
